KENSINGTON FLASHBACK

I spent a great deal of time in the Kensington area in the mid-80s. It was a brisk walk in the cool winter air of lunchtime, but man it was interesting to see the more things change, the more they stay the same. That being said, the commercial area of it seems pretty run down and past its prime from its heyday of the 80s and early 90s. Right about the time smoking Camels inside The Roasterie was banned. Coincidence?
