Yup, just another winter’s walk up Center Street and around Edmonton Trail in the bitter cold and wind.
I seem to be expanding my area of one-hour-operation to the point where I wouldn’t have suspected I could have made it to Peter’s Drive-in and back in under an hour. When I started to get close I thought it’d be great to get a milkshake for the return trip. As the frigid winds blasted my face, I changed my thought to packing the shake all the way back.
By the time I got to Peter’s, any thought of anything cold had been dashed and it was time to point my nose back across the Center Street bridge and those freezing cold lions.
I did enjoy walk past some old-time signage that is likely not long for this world before it’s trashed for the eventual upgrade of Center Street to something modern and sterile.
