Continued to be emboldened to make it to 17th Ave and around. The more I walk, the more I see that I can get “just that bit further” when it comes to my 60 minute leash.
It’d been a while since I’d been along 17th Avenue. Really, it’d been over 20 years since it had been one of my bases of socialization. The names of some of the places have changed, some have stayed the same.
What I found amazing is the atmosphere is the same as it was 20+ years ago. It’s still the area of the young 20-somethings living in their quasi-transient rental apartments. It turns out that I’m the one who has changed.
I finished up the walk with a couple shots from my office trying to get creative at the end of the day. Just playing around with the camera at hand. Nothing exciting, but trying to get my creative mojo cooking nonetheless.
